Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir simulation models to forecast field performance.
- Perform uncertainty analysis and risk assessment for drilling and workover programs.
- Collaborate with geology and petrophysics teams to integrate data into robust static and dynamic models.
- Conduct reserves estimation (SEC/PRMS standards) and annual audits for portfolio optimization.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence across the reservoir team.
- Design and monitor secondary recovery projects (waterfloods/EOR) to enhance production recovery.
- Prepare high-level technical presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G upstream sector.
- Expertise in industry-standard software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, Kappa, or CMG).
- Deep knowledge of pressure transient analysis (PTA) and production decline analysis.
- Strong background in unconventional reservoir development and completions optimization.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
