Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-fidelity reservoir simulation models to predict field performance.
- Design and execute comprehensive field development plans (FDPs) to maximize hydrocarbon recovery.
- Conduct detailed pressure transient analysis and material balance studies to identify production constraints.
- Collaborate with drilling and completion engineers to optimize well placement and stimulation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Present data-driven insights and technical recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure all engineering workflows adhere to strict environmental safety and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related Earth Science discipline.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software suites, such as Eclipse, Petrel, or CMG.
- Expertise in analytical and numerical simulation techniques.
- Strong understanding of economic evaluation methods and risk assessment in upstream projects.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
