Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of detailed reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse, or CMG).
  • Analyze complex geological and engineering data to identify production trends and optimize field development strategies.
  • Conduct economic evaluations and reservoir surveillance to maximize asset value and Net Present Value (NPV).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production operations to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on reservoir engineering principles and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proficient in reservoir simulation software (Schlumberger Petrel, CMG, or Eclipse) and data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of reservoir characterization, fluid properties, and PVT analysis.
  • P.E. license or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
