Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize production strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in well placement and development planning
- Analyze production data to identify opportunities for enhanced recovery techniques
- Prepare comprehensive economic evaluations for capital projects
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical training sessions
- Collaborate with geoscientists to integrate seismic and well log data
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, Nexus)
- Proven track record in enhanced oil recovery (EOR) project implementation
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience working with international joint ventures and diverse teams
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in carbon capture and storage
