Responsibilities
- Design and execute reservoir simulation studies to predict production behavior and forecast reserves.
- Analyze geological and engineering data to optimize well placement and completion strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geologists and drilling engineers, to ensure project success.
- Develop enhanced oil recovery (EOR) plans and evaluate new technology opportunities.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in reservoir engineering, preferably in unconventional or conventional assets.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, CMG, or Eclipse.
- Strong understanding of reservoir characterization, fluid dynamics, and reservoir simulation.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
