Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to forecast production and recovery efficiency
- Analyze well performance data and recommend hydraulic fracturing/acidizing treatments
- Collaborate with geologists and drilling engineers to field development plans
- Develop economic models for field development scenarios and investment decisions
- Lead cross-functional teams in reservoir characterization studies
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in offshore/onshore operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Petrel)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production optimization
- Valid P.E. license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proven track record in complex reservoir characterization
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
