Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance.
- Perform uncertainty analysis and risk assessment for field development planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geophysical, petrophysical, and geological data.
- Monitor and optimize well performance through decline curve analysis and nodal analysis.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and ensure high standards of quality assurance.
- Present data-driven insights and investment recommendations to executive stakeholders.
- Manage regulatory compliance documentation and safety reporting for drilling operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in upstream reservoir engineering.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software such as ECLIPSE, Petrel, or CMG.
- Advanced understanding of fluid properties, material balance, and pressure transient analysis.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar capital project portfolios.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills for executive presentations.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
