Responsibilities
- Design and optimize enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategies using advanced reservoir simulation software
- Lead integrated reservoir studies incorporating geomechanical and petrophysical data
- Develop production forecasts and economic models for multi-field portfolios
- Collaborate with data science teams to implement machine learning for production optimization
- Mentor junior engineers and champion technical excellence within the department
- Present technical findings to executive leadership and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Expertise in reservoir simulation tools (Eclipse, Nexus, tNavigator)
- Strong background in well design and hydraulic fracturing optimization
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (Python, Tableau)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven track record of delivering field development projects
