Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance and optimize field development plans
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in conducting reservoir characterization studies using seismic, petrophysical, and well log data
- Develop innovative enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategies for complex unconventional reservoirs
- Analyze production trends and recommend adjustments to maximize recovery factors and economic returns
- Prepare detailed reservoir engineering reports and presentations for executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in reservoir management workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master's preferred
- 10+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG, tNavigator)
- Expertise in well testing analysis and production optimization techniques
- Strong understanding of petrophysics, geology, and reservoir physics principles
- Proven track record of leading successful field development projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
