Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for utility-scale renewable energy projects
- Perform power system analysis using ETAP/PSS®E software
- Lead cross-functional teams from conceptual design to commissioning
- Develop detailed technical specifications and construction documentation
- Conduct site assessments and resolve field installation challenges
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, NEC, and utility interconnection standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ETAP/PSS®E modeling
- Experience with renewable energy interconnection standards
- Demonstrated project leadership in energy infrastructure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
