Responsibilities
- Design and execute reservoir simulation models for shale gas/oil projects
- Lead production optimization strategies using advanced software (e.g., Eclipse, PETREL)
- Analyze well performance data to recommend hydraulic fracturing enhancements
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate seismic and log data
- Develop economic models for field development plans
- Mentor junior engineers and present technical findings to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with EPA/DOE regulations for unconventional operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, PETREL required)
- Strong background in well design and hydraulic fracturing
- Proven ability to work with large geological datasets
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with economic modeling and field development planning
- Excellent presentation skills for technical audiences
