Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated reservoir simulation models to predict field performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive well performance analysis, including nodal analysis and pressure transient analysis (PTA).
  • Lead field development planning (FDP) and generate investment recommendations for executive stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineering staff on best practices for reservoir characterization and simulation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional drilling and completions teams to maximize well productivity.
  • Manage technical workflows related to reserve estimation (SEC/PRMS standards) and auditing.
  • Implement EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery) techniques to extend asset lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering, specifically within unconventional plays.
  • Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, Kappa, or OFM).
  • Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary teams in high-stakes environments.
  • Solid understanding of economics and production forecasting techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical data into commercial strategy.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
