Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir simulation models to predict field performance and optimize production.
- Lead asset evaluation projects, including reserve estimation and economic risk analysis.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of geologists and drilling engineers to refine drilling targets.
- Analyze pressure transient test data and production logs to diagnose well performance issues.
- Implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategies to extend the productive life of mature assets.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Present technical findings and development recommendations to senior stakeholders and board members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Deep understanding of unconventional reservoir characterization and decline curve analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying value-add opportunities.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities in cross-functional settings.
