Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (Petrel, Eclipse)
- Analyze production data to optimize well performance and recovery factors
- Develop field development plans and economic evaluations for new and mature assets
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geological, geophysical, and engineering data
- Lead reservoir surveillance programs and recommend operational adjustments
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil and gas operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation, well testing, and production optimization
- Proficiency in Petrel, Eclipse, and other industry software tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data
- Proven track record of successful field development planning
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to field sites as needed
