Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance and optimize recovery strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in integrating geological, petrophysical, and engineering data for field development plans
- Conduct economic analyses and risk assessments for drilling/completion programs and enhanced recovery projects
- Develop and maintain well surveillance programs to monitor reservoir performance and identify intervention opportunities
- Collaborate with subsurface teams to integrate seismic data and well logs into reservoir characterization workflows
- mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on industry best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream Oil & Gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (PETREL, Eclipse, Nexus) and data analytics tools
- Proven track record in EOR/IOR project design and implementation
- Strong knowledge of well test analysis and production optimization methodologies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives (IoT, AI/ML in reservoir management)
