Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using Petrel and Eclipse software
- Conduct well test analysis and production optimization studies for unconventional assets
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing field development plans and economic forecasts
- Analyze pressure transient data to identify reservoir characteristics and infill drilling opportunities
- Collaborate with subsurface teams to integrate geological and seismic data into reservoir models
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation, well testing, and production analysis
- Proficiency in Petrel, Eclipse, and OFM software suites
- Strong understanding of unconventional reservoirs (shale gas, tight oil)
- Valid P.E. license or eligibility for Texas licensure
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical projects
