Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance and recovery factors
- Lead field development planning and economic analysis for new exploration blocks
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate geological data into reservoir characterization
- Optimize well placement and hydraulic fracturing designs for unconventional assets
- Develop reservoir management strategies to maximize asset value over lifecycle
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in reservoir engineering workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Nexus, tNavigator)
- Proven track record in unconventional reservoir development (shale gas/oil)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production data analysis and history matching
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility for Texas licensure
- Excellent project management capabilities with cross-functional leadership experience
