Role Overview:
As a Senior Reservoir Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic planning and execution of our field development plans. You will be responsible for ensuring the economic viability of our reservoirs through rigorous analysis and modeling.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to forecast production trends and optimize recovery factors.
- Analyze complex geological and petrophysical data to identify new drilling and completion opportunities.
- Conduct pressure transient analysis and well test interpretations to assess reservoir performance and boundaries.
- Collaborate with drilling, completions, and production teams to design effective well stimulation programs.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers in reservoir engineering best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard reservoir simulation software such as Eclipse, CMG, or tNavigator.
- Strong understanding of reservoir characterization, fluid properties, and natural drive mechanisms.
- P.E. (Professional Engineer) license is a significant plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
