Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models for complex field assets.
- Conduct nodal analysis and production forecasting to identify optimization opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive reserve reports in accordance with SEC and internal standards.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Analyze well performance data to recommend and execute well intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with drilling and completions teams to ensure seamless asset life-cycle management.
- Present data-driven insights to executive stakeholders to influence capital allocation decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Expertise in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Deep understanding of unconventional play development and secondary recovery techniques.
- Proven track record of managing reserve evaluations and economic analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret large datasets accurately.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities in a high-pressure environment.
