Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models to forecast production and recovery factors.
- Conduct comprehensive well performance analysis and identify opportunities for optimization or workover.
- Perform uncertainty analysis and risk assessment for drilling prospects to ensure project viability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Drilling, Completions, and Geology, to execute field development plans.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical rigor and safety.
- Prepare high-level reports and technical presentations for executive leadership.
- Monitor and evaluate asset performance using real-time surveillance data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software suites (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, Kappa, or OFM).
- Proven track record in unconventional resource development and production optimization.
- Strong understanding of economic evaluation methods and project capital expenditure processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Current authorization to work in the United States.
