Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated reservoir simulation models to predict field performance.
- Perform comprehensive pressure transient analysis and material balance calculations.
- Lead asset development strategy through collaborative planning with drilling and completions teams.
- Evaluate acquisition and divestiture opportunities using robust economic modeling.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Provide technical reports and presentations to executive leadership to guide investment decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream sector.
- Expert-level proficiency with industry software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, Kappa, or OFM).
- Proven track record in unconventional or offshore reservoir characterization.
- Strong understanding of economic evaluation techniques and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface across multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
