Responsibilities
- Design and implement reservoir simulation models to forecast production and optimize recovery
- Analyze well performance data to identify enhancement opportunities and recommend strategies
- Collaborate with drilling and production teams to integrate reservoir insights into field operations
- Prepare technical reports and economic evaluations for investment decision-making
- Mentor junior engineers while staying current with industry advancements in EOR techniques
- Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on reservoir management plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, CMG)
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret complex geological and production data
- Experience with enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques and well testing methodologies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
