Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to optimize production strategies
- Lead field development planning and economic evaluation for unconventional assets
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate seismic data and geological interpretations
- Develop production forecasts and reserves reports in compliance with SPE standards
- Mentor junior engineers and champion continuous improvement in engineering workflows
- Interface with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges and enhance recovery
- Stay current with emerging technologies in digital oilfields and carbon capture solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, Nexus, or PETEX)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production data analysis
- Proven track record of optimizing field development plans
- SPE certification or equivalent professional designation
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional, matrixed organizations
- Valid US driver's license and ability to travel to field sites (25%)
