Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance and optimize recovery factors
- Lead field development planning and economic evaluations for new and existing assets
- Collaborate with geoscientists to integrate seismic data and well logs into reservoir characterization
- Develop production enhancement strategies including waterflood, EOR, and well intervention programs
- Present technical recommendations to stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior engineers and champion continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, tNavigator, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in production optimization
- Valid P.E. license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proven track record of leading successful field development projects
- Excellent communication skills for technical and stakeholder presentations
