Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-fidelity reservoir simulation models to predict field performance.
- Conduct material balance analysis and decline curve analysis (DCA) for major assets.
- Lead well testing programs and interpret pressure transient analysis data.
- Collaborate with drilling and completions teams to optimize well placement and stimulation designs.
- Prepare comprehensive reserves reports in compliance with SEC guidelines.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Present subsurface findings and investment recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in reservoir engineering within an O&G operator environment.
- Proven expertise in industry-standard software (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM).
- Strong proficiency in economic evaluation software (e.g., Aries or PHDWin).
- Deep understanding of unconventional play development and secondary recovery methods.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
