Responsibilities
- Design and implement reservoir simulation models for complex unconventional plays
- Optimize production strategies using advanced software (e.g., PETREL, Nexus)
- Analyze well performance data to recommend hydraulic fracturing enhancements
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in field development planning
- Develop economic models for field expansion projects
- Prepare technical documentation for regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices in reservoir characterization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (PETREL, CMG, Nexus)
- Proven track record in production optimization projects
- Strong analytical skills with statistical modeling experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with wellbore design and hydraulic fracturing
- Knowledge of HSE regulations in oil & gas operations
