You will work alongside industry-leading geoscientists and drilling engineers, providing the critical technical insights necessary to drive multi-million dollar capital investment decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models to predict field performance.
- Conduct comprehensive well performance analysis, including nodal analysis and artificial lift optimization.
- Prepare accurate reserve estimates in compliance with SEC and PRMS guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design optimal infill drilling and completion strategies.
- Evaluate acquisition and divestiture opportunities through detailed economic modeling.
- Mentor junior staff and promote technical excellence across the reservoir engineering department.
- Present data-driven field development plans to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in reservoir engineering, preferably in shale or unconventional plays.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Strong understanding of PVT analysis, material balance, and decline curve analysis.
- Exceptional analytical mindset with a track record of identifying value-add opportunities.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects within tight operational timelines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into strategic business insights.
