Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive reservoir simulation and modeling using industry-standard software.
- Evaluate field development plans and conduct sensitivity analysis for subsurface uncertainties.
- Collaborate with drilling and production teams to maximize recovery factors.
- Prepare technical reports and performance presentations for executive stakeholders.
- Perform well testing analysis, pressure transient analysis, and material balance modeling.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Support reserve reporting compliance in accordance with SEC/SPE guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in upstream oil and gas reservoir engineering.
- Expert proficiency in Petrel, Eclipse, Intersect, or equivalent simulation tools.
- Strong background in horizontal well drilling and hydraulic fracturing optimization.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and project management capabilities.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary field development projects.
