Responsibilities
- Design and optimize enhanced oil recovery (EOR) strategies using reservoir simulation software (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse)
- Analyze well performance data to identify production bottlenecks and recommend remediation solutions
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing field development plans (FDPs) with 20+ year horizons
- Integrate machine learning models for predictive production forecasting and reserve estimation
- Ensure compliance with SPE standards and regulatory requirements for reserve reporting
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays
- Advanced proficiency in reservoir simulation and PVT analysis
- Proven track record of optimizing field economics through innovative engineering solutions
- Strong knowledge of digital oilfield technologies and IoT integration
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with CO2 sequestration projects highly desirable
