Responsibilities
- Design and implement reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance and optimize recovery factors
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing field development plans and well placement strategies
- Analyze pressure data, well logs, and production histories to identify reservoir characteristics and opportunities
- Prepare detailed economic evaluations and investment recommendations for capital projects
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and implement best practices in reservoir management
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical workshops to enhance team capabilities
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate geological data into reservoir models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master's preferred
- Minimum 8 years of upstream reservoir engineering experience in oil/gas operations
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, CMG, or Petrel)
- Strong knowledge of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques and unconventional reservoirs
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Proven track record of optimizing field development and increasing recovery rates
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data
- Experience leading cross-functional projects in multicultural environments
