Responsibilities
- Lead dynamic reservoir simulation studies to optimize recovery factors and production forecasting.
- Perform comprehensive pressure transient analysis and material balance calculations for diverse reservoir types.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geology and drilling, to refine field development plans.
- Conduct uncertainty quantification and risk analysis using Monte Carlo simulation techniques.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Present critical performance data and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Monitor and evaluate field performance to identify intervention opportunities for well optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream O&G sector.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software such as Eclipse, Petrel, or CMG.
- Proven track record in successful well testing design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of economic modeling and commercial evaluation of E&P projects.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
