Responsibilities
- Design and optimize reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (e.g., PETREL, Eclipse)
- Analyze production data to identify reservoir performance trends and recommend recovery enhancement strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing field development plans and well placement strategies
- Conduct economic evaluations of reservoir exploitation projects using integrated workflow tools
- Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge-sharing through technical presentations
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate geological data into reservoir characterization
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and sustainable development practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Advanced proficiency in reservoir simulation software and data analytics tools
- Proven track record of optimizing field recovery factors and reducing production costs
- Strong knowledge of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques and unconventional reservoirs
- Certification as a Petroleum Engineer (PE) or equivalent professional designation
- Excellent project management skills with experience leading complex initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to present technical concepts to executive stakeholders
