Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir management strategies to maximize recovery factors.
- Conduct advanced reservoir simulation modeling using Petrel and Eclipse/INTERSECT.
- Perform uncertainty analysis and rigorous economic evaluation of drilling prospects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geologists and production engineers, to optimize well placement.
- Monitor field performance data and perform regular decline curve analysis (DCA).
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports to executive leadership for investment decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Proven expertise in unconventional resource development and hydraulic fracturing optimization.
- Advanced proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Schlumberger suite preferred).
- Strong understanding of petrophysical data integration and seismic interpretation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
