Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models to predict field performance and optimize production strategies.
- Lead multidisciplinary asset teams to identify infill drilling opportunities and workover candidates.
- Perform comprehensive decline curve analysis, material balance, and pressure transient analysis.
- Provide technical expertise for reserve estimation and economic evaluations in accordance with SEC/SPE standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in reservoir characterization.
- Coordinate with drilling and completions teams to ensure seamless execution of development plans.
- Prepare high-level technical presentations for executive stakeholders to support CAPEX decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related geoscience discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, Intersect, or Kappa.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex reservoir development projects.
- Strong understanding of economic modeling and financial risk assessment for upstream projects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
