Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated reservoir simulation models to predict field performance.
- Conduct detailed reserve estimations and economic evaluations for acquisition and divestiture projects.
- Collaborate with drilling and completion teams to optimize well placement and stimulation designs.
- Monitor production data to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on best practices in reservoir management and workflow automation.
- Ensure full compliance with industry safety standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in upstream oil and gas reservoir engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Strong grasp of economic evaluation techniques, including NPV, IRR, and risk analysis.
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary projects from conceptual design to execution.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills to interface with diverse stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
