Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance.
- Perform complex decline curve analysis and nodal analysis to optimize well productivity.
- Lead multidisciplinary asset teams to identify and evaluate new drilling opportunities.
- Collaborate with petrophysicists and geologists to integrate subsurface data into reservoir workflows.
- Prepare detailed annual reserves reports in compliance with SEC and PRMS standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight on field development plans.
- Present strategic findings and development roadmaps to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Proven expertise in unconventional resource development and horizontal well optimization.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, Kappa, IHS Markit).
- Strong understanding of economic evaluation, risk assessment, and decision-tree analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
