Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir management strategies for multi-well onshore and offshore assets.
- Conduct advanced reservoir simulation and numerical modeling to forecast production profiles.
- Perform detailed pressure transient analysis and material balance calculations.
- Collaborate with drilling and completions teams to optimize well placement and stimulation designs.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical best practices across the asset team.
- Prepare and present economic evaluations and AFE proposals to executive leadership.
- Monitor field performance data to identify opportunities for enhanced oil recovery (EOR).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of direct experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software such as Eclipse, Petrel, or CMG.
- Deep understanding of decline curve analysis, nodal analysis, and fluid property modeling.
- Proven track record of managing major field development projects from concept to execution.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary technical discussions.
