Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced R&D experiments to validate novel hypotheses in robotics and AI.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle for proprietary algorithms and simulation models.
- Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, product) to bridge the gap between theory and application.
- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to patent filings for proprietary technologies.
- Mentor junior researchers and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Present research findings to internal stakeholders and at international scientific conferences.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in research and development, preferably within the tech or biotech sector.
- Expert proficiency in Python, C++, and relevant simulation tools (e.g., ROS, Gazebo).
- Strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning, and optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Fluent in English; German is a strong asset.
- Track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals or industry-leading tech blogs.
