Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced research protocols in quantum material synthesis and nanotechnology
- Lead cross-functional teams through the full R&D lifecycle from ideation to commercialization
- Develop and optimize experimental methodologies using AI-driven simulation platforms
- Secure and manage federal research grants with potential for $2M+ funding
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to translate research into market-ready solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research in Q1 journals
- Expertise in advanced spectroscopy techniques (SEM, TEM, AFM)
- Proficiency in Python/R for data analysis and machine learning applications
- Demonstrated success in securing government or corporate R&D funding
- Strong project management skills with PMP or equivalent certification preferred
