Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end research, design, and development of innovative prototypes and new product lines.
- Conduct feasibility studies and rigorous testing to evaluate new technologies and materials.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, hardware/software engineering, and manufacturing teams.
- Translate complex scientific research into practical engineering specifications.
- Author detailed technical reports, white papers, and patent applications.
- Stay abreast of emerging industry trends, academic research, and competitor advancements.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous innovation within the R&D department.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Research & Development or advanced engineering capacity.
- Proven track record of bringing complex hardware or software products from concept to commercialization.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++, and data analysis tools.
- Experience with CAD modeling, simulation software, and rapid prototyping techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
