Responsibilities
- Lead design, prototyping, and testing of novel neurotechnology devices
- Conduct advanced research in neural signal processing and machine learning integration
- Collaborate with medical professionals to align R&D with clinical requirements
- Develop and validate experimental protocols for in-vitro and in-vivo testing
- Document research outcomes and prepare technical reports for regulatory submissions
- Mentor junior researchers and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams
- Stay current with emerging neuroscience and biomedical engineering trends
Qualifications
- PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proven expertise in neural signal processing and embedded systems design
- Strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB, and C/C++ for algorithm development
- Experience with FDA medical device development processes and ISO standards
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research or patents
- Familiarity with neuroimaging techniques (fMRI, EEG) and electrophysiology
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to experimental rigor
