Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing algorithms and AI-integrated material synthesis
- Design and execute experimental protocols for prototyping next-generation technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into commercial applications
- Develop and maintain robust documentation for research methodologies and findings
- Secure intellectual property through patent applications and trade secret protection
- Present research outcomes at industry conferences and peer-reviewed publications
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of scientific rigor
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proven expertise in quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq) or AI/ML model development
- Strong background in experimental design and statistical analysis
- Demonstrated ability to publish high-impact research or develop patented technologies
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and simulation software (COMSOL, ANSYS)
- Experience with cleanroom protocols and advanced characterization techniques
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for technical and non-technical audiences
