Responsibilities
- Lead R&D projects from concept to prototype development in sustainable energy systems
- Design and execute experimental protocols for material innovation and energy efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate R&D findings into product roadmaps
- Develop computational models and simulations to optimize system performance
- Secure and manage research grants while maintaining industry partnerships
- Document research outcomes and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior engineers and foster innovation culture within the R&D team
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in battery technology, energy storage systems, or renewable energy conversion
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS) and Python/R for data analysis
- Demonstrated success in securing research grants and publishing high-impact papers
- Strong project management skills with ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ASTM testing standards for material validation
- Experience with lab equipment: SEM, XRD, electrochemical analyzers, and spectrometers
