We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our high-acuity Intensive Care Unit. You will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team providing life-saving interventions for patients in a fast-paced, modern environment that prioritizes excellence in patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of critically ill patients, monitoring vital signs and neurological status.
- Administer complex medications, monitor drips, and manage ventilator settings under physician guidance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including intensivists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists.
- Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Educate families on patient status, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Participate in emergency response teams and code scenarios.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, ethics, and infection control.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- CCRN certification is highly desirable.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
