Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality adult transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms.
- Lead and mentor a team of 10+ sonographers to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate directly with cardiologists to interpret complex diagnostic findings.
- Oversee departmental QA/QC initiatives and maintain equipment protocols.
- Ensure compliance with IAC accreditation standards and safety regulations.
- Manage daily patient scheduling and throughput to optimize clinical workflows.
- Educate patients on procedures to ensure comfort and clarity during imaging.
Qualifications
- ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or high-volume lab setting.
- Prior experience in a lead or supervisory capacity preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Deep understanding of hemodynamic assessment and structural heart disease.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to clinical detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centric approach.
