Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for post-cardiac surgery patients and critical cardiac conditions
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, hemodynamic data, and ventilator parameters
- Administer complex medications including vasopressors and anticoagulants
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Document patient assessments and interventions with precision
Qualifications
- BSN degree with current Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum 3 years ICU experience with cardiac specialization
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Excellent critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in high-pressure environments
