Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor life-support equipment and interpret complex diagnostic data.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and IV therapies with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during crises.
- Maintain precise, real-time documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- CCRN certification is highly preferred but not required.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
