Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, neurological status, and hemodynamic parameters.
- Administer complex medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products with precision.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and specialists to develop individualized care plans.
- Manage ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other life-support equipment.
- Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and their families during critical situations.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and federal healthcare regulations.
- Document patient data accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU, CCU, or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding medical environment.
