Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuation, and discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis for potential real estate acquisitions and developments.
- Perform extensive market research and analysis, identifying key trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities in target real estate sectors.
- Prepare comprehensive investment memoranda, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and external investors.
- Assist in due diligence processes for new acquisitions, including reviewing legal documents, property financials, and market data.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, providing regular updates and strategic recommendations to optimize asset value.
- Collaborate with asset management, legal, and development teams to ensure seamless execution of investment strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, developers, and other industry professionals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related quantitative field; Master's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in real estate investment, private equity, or investment banking.
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling (Excel) and strong understanding of real estate valuation methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of real estate market dynamics, economic drivers, and property types (e.g., multi-family, office, industrial, retail).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency with real estate software platforms (e.g., Argus Enterprise, CoStar, Yardi) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
