Responsibilities
- Develop sophisticated financial models for various real estate investment opportunities, including acquisitions, developments, and dispositions across multiple asset classes.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, evaluate submarket performance, and inform investment strategies.
- Assist in all phases of the due diligence process, including reviewing leases, operating statements, property reports, and legal documents.
- Prepare detailed investment memoranda, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and external capital partners.
- Support the asset management team with ongoing portfolio analysis, performance tracking, and strategic recommendations.
- Participate in property tours, investor meetings, and industry conferences to foster relationships and gather market intelligence.
- Contribute to the underwriting and structuring of debt and equity financing for real estate projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 2-4 years of experience in real estate investment, private equity, investment banking, or a related analytical role.
- Exceptional proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, IRR, cash flow projections) with advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated experience with real estate specific software such as Argus Enterprise.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- A solid understanding of real estate market fundamentals, valuation methodologies, and capital markets.
